Patok sa Manok is a home-grown restaurant that started as a “lechon manok stall” and grew to a chain of restaurants in Davao City. Their restaurant at Lanang, Davao City is located beside Waterfront Insular hotel and in front of Fortune Executive Homes. Patok sa Manok restaurant has just reopened its doors to diners after Davao City has eased its quarantine regulations due to COVID 19. It is strictly following the health protocols of the government with a foot bath, health declaration forms, temperature checks, and sanitizers inside their dining area. At the time I dined there, it is only using half of its dining area space to accommodate diners.

The food never fails to please our tastebuds. We went there for lunch and ordered Seafood Roll and Beef Kaldereta. Their Seafood Roll consisted of two crispy and tasty rolls. Their Beef Kaldereta is a large serving and the beef is soft and delicious. They also serve the all-time Fillipino favorite Kare-Kare, Sinigang na Baboy, Crispy Pata, and Lechon Manok. There were only a few customers who dined there during that time.

Aside from the food, what I like about this restaurant is they have a safe parking space for their customers located at the side of their restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. The food is delicious and parking is easy. They also have takeout food. You should give it a try. On your next trip to Davao City, make Patok sa Manok your food trip destination together with your family, friends or special someone.
